Day 1
Departing from Cape Town via the Route 62 for the Garden Route. En route, taste some wine at Robertson before we continue to the Port Capital of South Africa. The Robertson Valley is renowned for its high quality wines, hospitality and beauty.
Calitzdorp is an important centre for the production of superb fresh and dried fruits, brandy, desert wine and of course port. Here you will have a chance to sample port. Ending our day in the ostrich capital of the world - Oudtshoorn. Nowhere else are ostriches found in such great numbers and nowhere else do they produce feathers of such fine quality. The world's biggest bird is just one attraction in an area of enormous contrasts. Afternoon tour of the Ostrich Farm. Booked for 16h00
Day 2
After a leisurely breakfast experience one of the world's natural wonders and most popular attraction of the Klein Karoo, The Cango Caves. (Booked for 10h00). Knysna's uniqueness lies in its people - take a stroll through the centre of town and you'll immediately become caught up in the vibrant and happy jostle of coffee shops, art galleries and workshops. Today enjoy: cruise to the famous Knysna Heads aboard the pleasure boat option to visit the unique Featherbed Nature Reserve (No Extra Cost)
Day 3
After a leisurely Breakfast we head over to the train station for a Old Steam train journey along the beautiful coast line from George to Knysna; the place of people, beauty and mystery. After the train ride we make our way back to Cape Town via Mossel Bay and time permitting Hermanus. Arriving back in Cape Town in the late afternoon.
